Photo 101: Water

For this one they asked us to interpreted water. I chose this nice shot of the Mississippi River taken from the east bank river walk.

Man has always rely on water for everything, empires have been created with rivers as the center of their economy and great family memories been made at the beach.

When the river and the man come together.
When the river and the man come together.

I like this shot because it expresses how we need water as a mean of economic growth and for recreational proposes. On the West bank (what it visible in the photo) we have the Port of New Orleans, while on the East bank (what you don’t see in the photo and where I am standing) you have the river walk where people came to have a drink, dance or excercise among other recreational activities.
